I've got a little bit of trouble measuring my 1327dueck fruit. It has some very deep ribs, and if i measure the circ a few times i always have a different number. What will do the trick for accurate mesuring of this pumpkin ?(http://community.webshots.com/photo/551680286/2793096310051229455PlADvg) Thanks Jos

very nice pumpkin going there, lots of people use a magic marker, scotch tape your measuring tape to the pumpkin, and draw a line around, then try to use the same mark every day, I would not measure in the ribs

mark the fruit at it highest point with a marker, take measurments, and use same marks next time, i got that from grower last year works good. i think Mike Franzts, not certin though! but it helps i kept doing the same thing.
