I just finished tacking up a bunch, of towels, inside my shade house. Yep...I shall keep them wet and hope, for a few evaporative degrees of cooling.
On the patch I may increase overhead wetting, for the same effect.
If there is no good breeze blowing the fan is going into service, in the shade house.

its almost 100 here in Iowa today and yesterday. Tomorrow we start to go back to normal.
