Are SVB's still a threat this time of year? I've never had a problem with them, but think i saw one tonight in my patch.

i found about 10 borers in the vines of a couple of plants yesterday. i have never had them before and i haven't seen any at my place, but they must be around. i can't tell you how late in the season they stick around.

On warmer than normal summers and springs its not unusual to see two rounds of svb's.

If you don't get them all out and you put down a systemic, is that about all you can do? First time this year also.

The emergence, of plants, insects, movement, of pathegons and animals is spread out over a time period. That assures the continued cycle, of all living things. Keep your war chest up and actively used throughout the season.
