Mike, Sorry to here that. Being that you consistently grow huge pumpkins year after year I think most people recognize you as one hell of a grower.

Hey mike,
I can understand your frustration of losing another biggie how many years now? Guys at your level are able to be upset with that. People like me would kill to lose a 1010!!!!! :) By the way, Those pics on your diary are great. The one overhead shot of your "state fair" garden with the 2 monsters tucked in there is awesome.

Hey Glen I dont see Bens pumpkin or any other 2006 pumpkin in the AGGC other than the 1010 do you? Maybe you have a version of AGGC that I do not? Mike N. told me I was first so I thought he would know better than anyone.

Ok...I stand corrected. The Boynton pumpkin is one of the ever-increasing fruits not represented in the once comprehensive AGGC database.

Mike, Sorry you have a DMG designation on your fruit. It's still on heck of a pumpkin. That 1083 has again shown it's potential, if you can keep it intact. I totally agree with JeffL. I wouldn't be surprised if someday a WR comes out of IA. Some fine growers down there.

If it doesn't kill you, it just makes you stronger. You must be one strong dude by now Mike. Always gets me to see a nice looking big one go down early.... because I know how much effort it took to get there.
Best of luck with the two you have left.

Your right man I think its making me stronger and I want to fight harder next year. Someday ill get lucky and get the big one to the contest. Best of luck everyone. Mike Frantz
