i have 1 pumpkin pollinated on july 16th. its ott is 233.
the main broke 10ft past the fruit, and i still have secondaries moving along.
my question is should i terminate the secondaries now or at any point in time?

you should base your culling off of your secondaries by the rate of growth of your pumpkin. If it is lacking growth, then go ahead and cull the heads off of your secondaries to center your plants attention to the pumpkin. If you think your pumpkin is growing too much, don't touch em'. Let them grow out to 15-20 feet then go ahead and cut them off.
