Or am I having another hallucination.. It appears that on the stem end (Away from the stem though) of all 3 of my pumpkins that they are sweating and if I don't wipe it off (OK I didn't) it turned hard and looks a little like pumpkin pine tar? Feels rough when you run your hand over it? I have 3 set on 2 plants and I noticed it on all of them the same day. Doesn't seem to sweat on the blossom end either. This was mid-day and it wasn't dew? Anything to be concerned about? I posted a pic, Should be up tomorrow...

Yeah, their growing. This condition happens often after a slow down then a growth spurt. They look like tiny elongated water droplets that push out from the fruit's surface. Keep the soil evenly moist at all times and you should be fine. Slacking off on the water and stressing the plant could cause a split a day after a heavy rainfall.

My squash was sweating twice after a growspurt. During the first time it was allmost all over the fruit, especially along the green lines, later more at the stemside of the squash.
the drops get brown and after some time they dry and fall off. Don't worry. :-)
