The pumpkins that the Dill farm produces for premium seeds, is that still his own genetics or does he look for seeds from other growers?
I would be interested in finding some seed for next year that has a deep background from the Dill farm. Is there such a thing?

Anything with an 810 Dill 99 in it goes quite a ways back. The father of the 810 was the 715 Dill 96 which came from the 567.5 Mombert 92 which came from the 616 Holland 91 which came from the relatively famous 575.5 Dill 88. The 575.5 was the 355.6 Dill 85 (F) and the 493.5 Dill 81 (M). This cross was an important one in early AG history and many pumpkins trace their genes back to the 355.6.

Wow Brad! You can actually remember this stuff?
Thanks, I think I have something I received last year with an 810 Dill. I'll try it next year.
