The 695 Handy had four drops coming from a tiny split at the stem. We've had two pumpkins go down in the last week so I am nervous that this is the smallest start of another soon to be larger split. What should we do today? I could go now and put a piece of duct tape on it. Cut the water, although it's not growing fast right now. Caulk it? Dust sulfur on it? What would you do?

I've used sulfur befor with no success. I'd try a little captain and try to get it dry

No duct tape,,air and drying is your friend..dust with Captan,,if the split gets bigger you will need to do some stress relieving(for the fruit,,lol) surgery. I have a pic coming up tonight that shows what I did here and the results so far.

A calcium spray applied daily will help it heal a bit faster. Then dust with Captan daily after it drys.
