Subject: Using ice after pollinating

Can anyone tell me a little bit about this method? Its my first attempt..I pollinated this morning,,put a frozen gallon jug of water beside fruit,,then put a box over the top..How long do you leave the ice before removing the box? ANy help is appreciated... Thanks..J

if it's real hot, I take my frozen bottle out at 6 or 7pm, I use a styrofaom cooler over the fruit, a small frozen water bottle inside that I can switch out when it melts with another small bottle later, fits much easier next to the fruit in the cooler than a large jug, and I use chopped ice around the outside of the cooler if it is smoking hot, then shade the whole area. How long do you keep icing it? How long do you keep it covered with the box? I know to cover the fruit afterwards,,just not sure about how long to keep it covered with the box and ice..Thanks Jim.. J
