I'll keep weekly updates on this topic - since my ammunition states 'For severe infestations apply every 7-14 days'. Should know within two weeks if they've won - or if I did..

Are you sure you are fighting Squash Vine Borers? I don't think the life span of the adult is that long. I know the borers last over winter.

When do they stop laying eggs ,First part of Aug or would it be later then that?

I observed my last SVB Moth on Aug. 2nd this year. Borers are still doing damage. South-east NY

After comparing the specimens that I caught - they match the pictures in all my gardening 'pests' books. According to my local Ag. Ex. Agent - TN can suffer from 2-3 rounds of SVB. Depending on the length of the warm season. He extimates that this is the first round hatch, they will lay, and the second round hatch will then lay low through winter.
Our first frost is generally at Halloween or after. More than enough time for another round of Borers to mature if laid now.
