cnadoc corn gluton applied after the plant has rooted and vine out works great doen't seam to slow growth at all. corn gluton is a weed preamergent.

Tilling it all under at the end of the season is kind of a moment that I don't care for. Another year gone. Perhaps dreams realized, probably not. Next year is too far away to get excited the only thing to look forward to is 5 months of snow and cold.

Dont mind the weeding, for me its therapy and a chance to think about things.....So far I hate not having enough room to walk in the patch and manage vines.......I wish the day was longer......some of the folks out there have such great looking large patches, I really envy them.....I want a tractor....and herbie......lol

Even daily watering by hand for the whole patch!

Weeds, you don't need to remove them, just cover the patch with a (thin) layer of cutted grass, it work here for years now, very well.

Spraying, what for? Grow thing in harmony with nature, biological whatever and its not needed...

I found a new way to harvest seeds from rotting 'kins... Hack in half w/machetti.. Use Spade to 'dig out' innerds.. dump them in 5 gallon bucket of very soapy water.. Make sure you leave rotted 'kin behind spouse's car - so HE has to put it in skid-loader and take it to the forest..LOL.

The other thing I HATE - is pulling off all the debris and burning it at the end of the season!

And when a bee flies into my beer and I don't see it..
and finally, Having to run back to the house to get more beer!!
