I was going to post on this mystery as well(you beat me to it Tremor). Those are some very nice pumpkins! They are likely seasoned growers, I'm guessing.

hmmm, could it be Joe Jutras and the 1228 Jutras?
check out the resemblance in background and wires around his one patch...

I think the grower is a heavy hitter from NY. The one I am thinking of has famous seeds, one being 805.

No doubt a heavy hitter, if you look closely you can see another huge pumpkin further behind the nut with the bag on his head. A couple of very large pumpkins and a very large patch area.....hmmmmmm who is it?

I think you are all correct about it being a heavy hitter, but I wouldn't guess NY, but farther north in the New England States.. Hint, dont go farther north than MA.

I'm hoping that the pumpkin pictures in pic #2 (the 1068 Wallace x 842 Eaton) is from the 1228 Jutras, because it is at the top of my list for 2007!

Now it seems that a few other people seem to also have the same shirt. I'm sure they have probably sold thousands of them. This is turning into a scooby mystery!
How about a show of hands if you own a similar Krispy Kreme shirt...

Well seems I have discovered a group of detectives. I must admit this has been very entertaining. Carolina Brad how did you know there is a Krispy Kreme just outside Leicester. Then again Tremor may be aware of the Cranston Coffee Shoppe. Visited the Krispy at Altoona last year! North Shore NUTS/BAGS/AG growing go hand and hand. Lastly, davep do you have a color preference? More to follow. TUG

As a well known RI Grower says.. 'I can see a cartoon coming from all of this' LOL. Artisticly drawn faces on the bags too, sorta same style as the Cartoons. Nicely cut grass, i bet there is a 3 or 4 storey house near that patch too. Am i warm yet or do i need to keep guessing who our mystery TUG's are ?
Regards Mike

the unknown growers
we are a secret organization. Forged by friendship, fueled by pride and passion for the hobby. We come from everywhere, all walks of life or, as some might say "HEY, GET A LIFE".
Our numbers are growing as we speak. Like a freight train out of control we cant be stopped.(JUST LIKE OUR PUMPKINS) just last night we initated two new members from where else ? "parts unknown". upon completion of taking (the pledge) " thank you sir may i have another"?, they were issued bags, cameras and sent on their way.
we have planned an "unknown road trip" for saturday where several new baggets will enter the " arena of SHAMELESSNESS"
If you desire a posting under the "unknown grower" diary or just want a goofy picture of you yand your family ( in full bagging gear) posted please forward and we will review at our next bagging session.
