So I have 5 plants and one is getting yellowing around the outside of some of the leaves. Any thoughts? I have had a recent issue with little white flies I treated with some kind of soapy spray that was supposed to help, it did a little.
The plant is rather spindly, the whole vine is a trained secondary, no side vines coming off this one.
Everytime I post a question it ends up being the worst problem.. so be gentle.

Matt. It is obviously of little help at this time in the growing season but a Soil Analysis done in the Fall is going to be the best way of answering your above question. We could all fire of possible causes for such plant problems but the answers are/most likely in the soil.

The reason I mentioned that it is 1 plant of 5 is that the others are A OK. So soil cannot be an issue, since one of the other plants is growing out of the same mound. Plus the yellowing has been sudden. I finally got 2 'kins pollinated on this thing, I dont want to loose it without getting some kind of fruit off it.
I just remembered this plant has had issues with inch worms eating on 4-5 of the leaves closer to the stump, but I thought I killed them all.

I have the same thing. We have soybeans in the area that do the same thing due to iron chlorosis, which is the soil pH affecting the uptake of iron and other nutrients into the plant. Hit it with some fertilizer with a micronutrient package, and it should pop it out of it. Check out my diary and you can see if it is the same thing.
