Hi guys and gals. As I'm real new to this I'm afraid you have to bare with my newbish questions. So here goes. Apart from growing two AG:s I will try to grow sanother pumpkin in a 50 liter bucket. As its a bucket I would prefer if the plant would be bushy or semibushy and nto trail away with the vine as AG:s do. Any suggestions to what to plant? Take care and may they grow bigger....

GROWING IN A BUCKET? ID SAY A "JACK B-LITTLE " PLANT MIGHT MAKE IT BUT YOU WOULD NEED TO TRELLIS IT KINDA LIKE THEY GROW LONG GOURDS.

There are some dwarf varieties that would be better suited than others. Do an internet search for these varities:
Jack Be Little Wee-Be-Little Lil Pump-ke-mon
Regulat Howdens & CT Field might also be OK if you can control the vine growth & give them a suitable landing area to set fruit on.

There are a few compact varieties. Compact meaning they grow in 50 square feet vs 150-200. If you have a trellis area to grow them up. It will work.
