Wrap up your babies tonight if you live in Ontario, Canada. Tonight's forcasted low is suppose to reach 4 degrees C or 39 F. That should really slow things down some. What ever became of the warm August we were suppose to have. This is the second cold spell this month. 3 weeks ago it got down this low as well. No wonder my growth rates are down. Good luck to all in Sept.

Very cold out there this morning, but no frost. Low did reach 39 degrees (F). It's suppose to warm up to 45 degrees (F) tonight. Frost can't be too far away with temps like this. I hope it holds off for another month. Did it get cold in your region?

Weather in NE ND has been perfect. Daytime around 80, and the nights in 50-60's. No warning of frost yet, but it will happen in the next couple of weeks.

Here at 6000Ft. + altitude it is getting cold early this season, and Pikes Peak which is the back yard of Colorado Springs has shown snow on itself twice in the last two weeks.....brrrr..It could be an early winter..Lets pray for a mild Septemper everyone....Happy Growing..JK

Only reached 44 F last night or about 6 C. Suppose to warm up to 48 tonight. Growth rates have slowed down considerably. Hope it warms up soon. Not really to good for the watermelons either. I sure hope Sept is a warm month. Only 5 weeks left until the big show & I need to put on lots of weight if I want to have a decent showing. Good luck all.

I guess Central Ontario is a lot cooler than down in Picton. We are 2 hrs north of you though. I look forward to seeing the 947 at Port Elgin. Take care & keep her going.

Phil Remember, we are right along lake Ontario. One hour North can mean 10 degrees F difference in temp, summer or winter. Things have warmed up a lot since yesterday. Ernesto is bringing steady moisture. The 947 is growing steadly. I will see if I can convince brian to bring it to Port Elgin. He crossed it with the 500 Northrup. S/B a nice cross. john
