I took my 500B to the S.D. state fair thinking this will be my first sound pumpkin of the year. Wrong!! I cant win!! I noticed a small hole when it was on the truck. Pictures are on my grower diary. It was weighed as a 1139marsh06dmg. Thank you! Kevin Marsh

The 1139 is a great looking pumpkin Kevin. Still a great job growing them that big. Im not sure how I would act losing a 1100 pounder.

Man, you can't catch a break this year at all. Sorry to hear you lost another monster. You've had quite a season so far. Any more in the patch? If so, good luck with them.

considering the fact that if those would have been official pumpkins, they all would have made your state's top 10 list, giving you 7 out of 10 - i'd say you have acomplished quite a bit this year.
how's that other one holding up?

Kevin, You had some monsters this year. Maybe next year they'll all stay intact. You must be doing many things right, to get those massive sizes.

Thank you everyone!! I have 3 left. They are 1173,1407, and my 872.5. Hopefully I can keep one intact until Oct 7th. The way this year is going, thats a long ways away. It has been raining for 4 days now. As soon as the sun comes out and it warms up, I will be crossing my fingers. I will post pictures as soon as it dries up. thank you!! Kevin Marsh
