My patch and immediate close by areas have hatched a gazillion slugs following all the rain we have had over the past three or four days.

Be very alert....ring the pumpkin with a good sprinkle of slug getters! I use Slugo or Escargo. All garden centers should have someting. At this moment I would say immediately get something out there. Those suckers will climb and track up your fruit eating all the way.

Last week it was a dandy bloom of aphids. This week it is slugs. Be aware and alert to both right now!!!
