Jerry, I'm done for the season. Two nights ago dipped to about 30 degrees and lost 90% of leaves. Last night went to about 26 degrees. I haven't had the heart to go look at the patch yet but I'm sure I can start preping for next year now. I'm seriously considering a greenhouse.

Being in a true zone 3 with an "average" first frost date of Sept 10th I can feel for anyone that is dealing with frost. Having lucked out with 2 good fruit on the "hook" this first year I am building temporary greenhouses over plants this weekend hoping to get some borrowed growing time. Warm thoughts folks and good luck !!!

Our temp got down to 29 degrees. My best plant was mostly covered with tarps, and I still lost 15% of the leaves.
