My big pumpkin split, and I harvested the seeds last night. I cleaned them off, have them sitting on a cookie drying rack on some paper towels, and have a fan blowing on them.
How long before I can consider them cured?
Damn pumpkin split through the stem end into the cavity. It was OTT for 600 lbs, but scaled 518. I had fun, and there is still one more growing.
Lots of seeds to trade too.

LOL I couldn't imagine trying to eat these things. It would be like biting into a wood shingle.
The wife is on a diet so she won't be baking for a while, and I can use the cooling racks until I am done.

when the thin membrane peels off the seeds they should be done drying. do a germination test on them after wods to make sure they sprout.

I have some college buddies from down there. A room mate from Hutch too. Lot of people from down in that country went to Moorhead State when I was there.
