Does everyone plant their AG's in the same spot every year, or do you rotate? I am not sure what a pumpkin on pumpkin planting has for risks. Powdery mildew was my only foe this year, and had no insect problems.

I took all of my vines away from the garden for disposal too.

Herbie, most of us don't have the space to rotate, or enough money to get the soil in that big of an area producing in excellent shape. However; if we did a three year rotation is perfered. Two year is better than not doing it at all.

Thanks Bill. I saw your pumpkin in the Grand Forks Herald you had at the fair. Nice one.

My garden is big enough that I can do about a two year rotation, and it is only the second year since I broke ground for the garden. I should be able to abuse the land a bit before anything shows up.

My plans for next year overlap some spots of pumpkin on pumpkin planting, but not bad.

If we all had room to rotate there wouldn't be so many Fusarium failures this year. Those who can rotate should.
