               Ok survived a light frost and still packing on pounds, would you folks hang on to it and go to the big show or take the safe bet and go to the fair? P.S Hitting 360 + " on a sweet 1180 Daletas plant.

               hi, went  to the woodstock  fair  conn. yesterday,  only 3 pumpkin,s  on  display, weight,s were  625  500,  350    the big one was white in color   there was a watermelon that weighed  78 lbs

               Gad's it depends, if it is you only one or your personal best you owe to yourself to grow on.  Then take some time to go to the fair and scope out the competion. If you have others doing as well take it to the fair.  Fairs are great for TV radio, and newspapers.

               Ok We had a punking harvesting party today .... Both main plants were carefully unveiled inspected and measured. It was unamious (Sp) that the 1180 be left on the vine untill the Oct weigh offs or it meets its untimely end. Still the #2 plant measured out at exactly 341" which exactly equals Adams (Runnerkids) County record and was sucessfully loaded for the fair tonight. We Haw hope to get my record back tomorrow Adam!
