               Glad I took yall's advice... Here's a brief summary..
Loaded the 625 Foss by putting a new hammock around it and lifting it with the skid loader (hammock has a 1,000lb load capacity)... Loaded up hubby and kids to go to fair. After we figured out which gate to go through - we found the 'crop building'.. I walked in and asked where to bring 'kin. The lady said 'throw it with the others'.. I saw a large row of Big Max's - no Giants.. I asked where their bobcat was - no bobcat. She couldn't believe we used one to load it!
Ended up suckering the 6-7 guys/teenagers that were rubbernecking over the back of the truch - to lift it with the hammock and bring it in.. They TRIED to weigh it **grin** all they had was a cheap household scale. It maxed the scale with one side of it resting on the ground... So they listed it as '300+'
So I won my first jackpot **grin** I'll make a sign that explains that it's part of a research project, giving contact info for those interested in learning more - and listing www.BigPumpkins.com as another source for free advice and seeds....

Great job, the heavy hitters will need to move over and make room for the teach.

Fantastic~ Next time hit up a feed mill in your area, and they will have forklift, and certified scales. they will weigh it for free or for a couple $ then take it to the fair, and by the way seeds are sent Great luck (L)

The story or report is more common than some may think. This is a fun read with more truth than fiction. We face the same challenges at our best fair all for a $50.00 first place and the hopes one might muster help to load for the return home. Further more the dates overlapped our weighoff by one day. "No indeed you can't pull out a day early" was the answer which likely kept me from having your experience in our area. :)
Thanks for introducing your area, to an American Giant.
