I am preparing to send a soil sample to the Dept. of Agriculture. What should I be asking for ?

Soil & Buffer pH should be standard.
Phosphorus & Potassium are standard.
Nitrogen is a waste of time estimate based on organic matter.
Order the "Percent Organic Matter" test if its not standard.
Cation Elements should be standard.
Micronutrients are a good optional test in a new patch.
