comments: I wasn't sure how to send an updated state record, so I'm giving this a shot! I grew a 657 lb AG in Mount Vernon Texas this summer.
It was weighed on certified scales in July, with many witnesses, local paper, and County Extension Agent to inspect. Please advise if addnl info is needed.

Many of us watched the pumpkin all along. Thats about all I can say. None of us saw it first hand, but she has pictures and many of us followed it all year and trust her.

well the last record that could be found was Audie Starkey at 620.0 in 01 So.. if nobody diputes it, sounds like your # 1 at 657 Smith 06 as far as i'm concernd your the new record holder of the great state of Texas. Congrats Rog
