Wont be foliar spraying anymore after this:

A Winter Storm Watch Remains In Effect From Late Thursday Night Through Late Friday Night.

While A Mixture Of Rain And Snow Is Expected In The Foothills Tonight... A Second Storm System Will Bring Colder Temperatures And A Chance Of Heavy Snow To The Foothills Friday. The Amount Of Snowfall Is Heavily Dependent On The Track And Speed Of The Storm Which Will Determine The Amount Of Upslope Winds Against The Foothills. Snowfall In The Lower Foothills Will Also Depend On The Temperatures Which May Be Too Warm To Allow Snow Accumulation During The Day On Friday. While This May Not Be A Major Event... There Is Potential For A Long Period Of Heavy Upslope Snowfall Friday And Friday Night. This Could Produce From 5 To 15 Inches Of Snowfall In The Foothills. The Heavy Snow Is Most Likely At Elevations Above 7500 Feet And In The Foothills Of Boulder And Larimer Counties

We had about 6 inches of snow up at the roundhouse 3/4 way up the mtn, there was snow about half way down the mountain with that system, maybe lowest level of 4500ft range? (Hard to tell with cloud cover at that time)about a week ago. Been getting a bunch of dustings at most of the peaks around here aswell.

I lived in the foothills west of Boulder 2 years ago... It was my first year ever growing pumpkins... I was so proud of my pumpkin that year... it weighed in (on the bathroom scale) at 38 Lbs!

They are calling for 34 for the lows the next two nights here, fri & saturday. That means it will most likely hit 28 - 30 degrees where I am. Which means an end of the season for sure with 23 days to go until the weigh-off. Looks like I may be weighing them early unless we have lots of luck. To the west of here Pikes Peak is all white well below tree level, as Divide, colorado 25 miles west of here at around 9000 ft. altitude had 9 inches of snow last night, and the next storm is predicted to be even more intense could bring possible snow on the patch oh well....Hope the clouds hang around with wind the next two nights, If the sky clears with no wind we are doomed...

Ill be covering mine with a frost blanket Im thinking it should be OK with the warmth still in the ground. Sure would be a lot easier If it just didnt freeze. I see the predictions say its to warm up after Sunday again to get us to the weigh off date. Dang James I want to see your monster this year if you have to weigh earlier bring it up for group pics........Id like to see a real beach ball!.....hehe
