Hey guys, a lot of you know that I'm interning at Longwood Gardens. We have a GardenFest that runs through September every year, with lots of pumpkins and gourd displays. To put it bluntly, the "giant" pumpkins they put on display are tiny, and very much not a good representation of the size a giant should be. So I've been in contact with one of the employees that helps plan this event to see if something can be done about this. She seems very interested in getting bigger pumpkins for the future displays, and is asking for my help to contact growers.

What she would like is contact info for PA growers that would be willing to sell pumpkins next year. Longwood Gardens would need them around Labor Day I'm guessing... this would be a good fate for small duds that stopped growing early. I have already told her the general prices people ask, and I'm sure the grower would be given credit on a display label if they wanted. So if anyone thinks they might be interested in selling fruit to Longwood, please reply.
