It looks like Ed's record still stands.

It would be nice if someone would contact Jim Gatewood & make arrangements to start tracking the New Jersey Top Ten.

Saw a listing for 817 last year from cumberland county...but I believe the 825 was Gancarz's best squash.
I thought he was listed at 817 for pumpkin...and was the world record at the time..maybe check the GPC world record list.

No GPC sites in NJ and it's tough to read all the local events...have to go through the papers county by county...also a lot of growers go out of state for the weigh-offs and would probably be better track from those GPC sites. The 817 was weighed in south Jersey and that sites weigh-off is next weekend..offering an extra hundred buck bonus to anyone who can beat the 817.

Well come on Chucky. Build it & they will come. I talked with Ed last year. He was thinking about coming to Penfield but he got side tracked. He isn't on the www so talking about it here is useless. I know Ed would rather weigh-off in NJ than drive that's for sure. Once bitten twice shy & all ya' know?

NJGPGA Weigh-Off in Chuck's driveway. $100 & it's a GPC event.

AGGC lists an 829 Green grown in 1995 for Ed.
