Now that a lot of the weigh offs have either happened or are about to happen it's time to start thinking about fall patch prep work for next years season. I'm curious as to what people are going to do to prepare their pumpkin patch for the 2007 season? Do you add leaves, winter rye? Some of us put down fresh manure and others use kelp. If you have a "recipe" you follow in the patch before the long winter sleep chime in and share it with the rest of us.

cool thanks John!
Right now i have to wait till bulldozer guy is done he'll add a few thousand feet, as soon as he's finished i'll take soil samples from old, and new patches, and go from there. When he is finished i'll post before, and after with all the stuff that will be layerd this year
