Congrats to Gary Miller of Napa, CA who raised the California state record by 80 pounds with his 1280.5 Miller which won the GPC weighoff at Elk Grove today. His beast of a pumpkin was grown off his own seed (723 Bobier x 1260 Weir).

Great pumpkin Gary! They saved, and wieghed, the best for last. I could stare at your pumpkin for hours. It has a great shape to it. It must've been hard to grow in our crazy rain and heat. Russ, thank you for introducing me to Greg Stucker and Pete Glasier. I've learnend about 6 years of pumpkin wisdom from you Napa heavy hitters in about 2 hours. That's priceless. -Kevin
