I would like to thank everyone for all the well wishes, emails and phone calls. Please bear with me on the return emails and calls, I will respond to everyone but at this point I am burried, but not complaining. At some point when it all slows down I'll post some interesting facts on the 1502 and paps 1450. I hope everyone someday can feel how I have felt over the last 24-hours, made all the hard work over the last 16-years worth every minute of it.

Thank you,

Ron Wallace

Ron,
Talking to you for several years, seeing how you tirelessly help fellow growers, and watching the hardships over the years since I began growing, I cannot think of any other person more deserving than you and your father. You truely deserve it and I hope you and your father enjoy this moment.

It has been a pleasure watching your season unfold beginning over the last several weeks with all of the 1100 pound culls that you took to early contests and continuing through yesterday.

Simply amazing season!

Couldn't have happened to a nicer or more deserving family. Talk about paying dues? After all of the let downs you guys have proven that perseverance pays off.

Well done.

Hey...maybe a "Season in Review for the 1502" write up to post here at BP?

Hopefully it will hold up for you as the new World Record as the weigh-ins continue.

It it does hold up and if Scott Cully comes to carve it I would like to be there for the carving. Please post on this if it comes to pass. Thanks and congrats for being the first to realize the impossible dream. Great work!

Nice work you 2 ....hopefully you guys dont get pushed into hiding , by the seed mongers . Alot of us future green thumbs have picked up so many growing tips over the last year or two from pap , that it would be a shame if he isnt allowed to continue his sharing of knowledge , without being harrased for his seeds .......

You and your dad are truly amazing. It must be nice to have that kind of relationship to grow together and enjoy it as much as you both do. No doubt you'll both go down in pumpkin history. You both deserve it. Thanks for all your help over the past year as well. Congratulations!! Don

Ron,
All I can so is WOW!!! You were more than generous with the interview you did for our IGPGA newsletter and you and your father have helped so many of us here on BP.com that this moment in pumpkin growing history couldn't have happened to better people. Congrats again at the new world record and now raising the bar even higher.
