Who should support this query?
I am a reporter for the TimesDaily, a 32,000 circulation daily newspaper in Florence, AL I will be writing a story Tuesday about the 1.078-pound giant pumpkin that was grown a few miles north in Lawrenceburg, TN. I would like to use part of your record pumpkin list with the story to show how this pumpkin compares to others in the South. I would credit your Web site for the information. If possible, I would also like to talk to your by phone or e-mail about how unusual a 1,000 pounds plus pumpkin is in the south, especially when the summer was so hot. When I think of pumpkins that size, northern states with mild summers come to mind. Thank you, Dennis Sherer TimesDaily Florence, AL

There is a website related questions thread where you can contact Ken. It should be easy to find his email from there. You can also contact the GPC for statistics if needed and they have a thread here as well. I think any officer email address found here is fair game.
