Holy Smokes. 7 over 1000, and still has time to respond for my little call for help back in August and recommend some copper spray, when my patch started to shows signs of a fungal outbreak. Awesome year.

That is amazing. I remember when Geneva Emmons had four over 1000 in 2001, which was incredible for it's time. Now, seven?!!! That must be a record! Can anyone top it?
It's sort of analagous to "most home runs in a season".

Quinn did an amazing job, and i thank him for bringing some of his beauties to the NY weighoffs.
I think this year Dan and Jason Mckie would be his NY equivalent - 6 over 1000, including the heaviest out of NY for 06.

I think Quinn and his son Matt combined had 8....one was a squash.
They had 3 fruit at Pumpkinville, 2 at canfield, 1 at yankee lake, 1 at Columbus, and 1 at Cooperstown Also while looking I also saw a 985 and 910

yeah quinn and the mckie's are what i consider 'one of the peoples who have it figured out'. quinn dominates every year no matter what the weather, no excuses. the mckie's 'figured it out' last winter i think because they dominated this yr.
(if you want to send some secrets this way guys, that'd be great).

Great year. Congrats Quinn. More congrats are due. Quinn is also 1 of three names that appear for the top 20 GPC pumpkins for 05 and 06. The only others are Joe Pukos and Todd Kline. If you look at the top 25 you can add Joe Jutras to the list.

I know alot of sites that would kill to have a top ten average that Quinn had in his garden. Don't forget Jack and Sherry LaRue, you want to talk about taking it to the next level they git-er-done. The defining atribute for them is they are extremely consistent something I would guess all of us would love to have. Congradulations to all the multiple 1,000#+ growers on an outstanding year!!!!
