I'm taking next year off for growing pumpkins. I have lots of seeds that should be given away to someone who will plant them. My seeds are strictly for orange, round, and ribbed genetics. Lots of 869.5 Calai genetics.

Can you give us an idea of what seeds you have so that we can research which ones we may want to request?

I don't mean to be picky. It's just that I'm probably only growing one plant next year. And, I've already picked it out (although that may change in the off-season). But, I may be able to make a bit of room for a pollinator.

The one that I want to plant is pretty orange (I haven't been able to grow anything really big yet, so they might as well be orange!). So, I might as well cross it with something else orange (rather than doing a boring "self").

I am a visual guy. So, I would want to see the pumpkins that gave birth to the seed. That's why I am asking. I would look up the genetics and photos in the AGGC to see which ones I might like.

Crammed, Try MrRei$$ selfed, check out TheWIz diary and his MrRei$$ or lots of pics on ColoradoPumpkins.com site. LongMont Petes was 511 and a Reiss too. Seeds avail in a few weeks, big and orange.

The one I'm thinking of growing is 891 Northrup, which I think is the same cross as the 670 Daigle, which is in Martin's 1233 isn't it?

Email's sent : ) Thank you for offering your seeds. Orange, Round, and Ribbed are beautiful. I'm tired of people telling me I have nice squash. Any and all seeds truely appreciated.

I received a flood of requests and only have enough for the first several responders. So, at this point, there are no more seeds.
