I hear you shouldn't plant your pumpkins in the same spot each year. What if this isn't an option?

Your answer..........plant them in the same spot each year. Lots of us have to do this. Few of us have space to rotate in ideal conditions.

if you cant change the patch location you can still change the plants base location. a lot of disease and fungal problems seem to show first at the base of the plant. alternating outside in to inside out (back to back,etc) will help some.
