I recieved an email from the PR people of the Philadelphia Flyers looking for a giant pumpkin to carve at thier home game on Halloween night. They need to know quickly and are willing to compensate with money, Flyers tickets, or both being that this is such short notice.

I have a 686 pounder but I live 3 hours away. If you live in the area, and are interested in working with the FLyers and having your giant carved (carver needed also, see below) please email me and I will give you the number of the personnel there.

As for a carver, if you know of anyone who can carve, they are looking for someone who could carve the Flyers Logo (see Philadelphiaflyers.com) into the giant. Larry, Marv, anyone?

Heck, who knows, maybe it would end up on Sportscenter! lol

Maybe Forsberg could turn it into a carriage and ride it out of town before the whole team implodes! Only has until midnight to get this done of course. If the pumpkin was a 1000 pounder maybe Ed Snider could get the whole team in there!

Couldn't resist,
Chad

They ended up taking my 686 and I guess it went well. I am still waiting on some pictures to be sent to me, when I get them, I will post in my diary.
