This is just what we need to kick this off in Colorado. I cant Thank the Colorado Springs gentlemen for their help this year. 35 new growers this year added to ColoradoPumpkins.com and hoping they can grow a big one like James, Marc, did. Wait till I show them the Wallace pics.......
Gee now I have a radio station emailing me about something.....sorry got to go for now.......Sweeeet

Thanks everyone, the press swamped me and I did not even have the biggest one. All I did was try to unload my puny fruits on my own, due to being mad that no one would help with the fruits taking over my truck for over a week, and all of the sudden I was surrounded by media.....What a strange end to a season, but I guess it all worked out well in the end especially with the best carving I have ever seen by a famous local artist here named Rich Weatherbee whom volunteered to carve one of my fruits. I hope to twist The Wiz's Arm to maybe post a picture of the fine art work on the coloradopumpkin.com site. Thanks to everyone for a fine ending to season that I had pretty much given up on due to no records or personal bests. I guess that is what this hobby is is all about having fun and sharing the great pumpkin experience for all to enjoy and to promote the sport in a not so pumpkin growing friendly environment that I live in here in Colorado. Thanks, James Kane

Hey James you are right on. To bad some have not been able to grasp the truths many others enjoy.
