I wondered what you guys do about this. Do you just let them dry and flake off on their own, or do you actually pick the film off each seed, one by one???

I grab them by the hands full and rub them together to get as much off as possible. I do this outside! I then put them on a bath towl and turn a fan on them to blow the residual stuff away. Once the seeds are good and dry, the film comes off easy.
I suppose it wouldn't hurt to let the film fall of naturally, not completely sure though.

It'll flake off after the seeds are dry. But there is no harm in storing the seeds with the dry film intact. In fact, it gives the future grower something constructive to do with their hands at an otherwise slow time of year.
