ok all me and sis 1 have a question the seeds we have from the pumpkins are drying on screens and have been drying but becks is starting to turn green what to do? we have read about the mild bleach solution but what is that give me the recipe please and can the green seeds be saved or should we toss them and save the rest from going green on us? If you all could help us out we know about the screen method just not the best way to protect against seed rot or mold any comments or ways to help us would be greatly appreicated.

You need to provide air circulation to properly dry them. A small fan works wonders.

Short soak in 10% bleach...90% water, 5 mins or so should work, or so I have read in the past. Air circulation...fan blowing...is prbly what you need to add. The short bleach soak time will prbly kill all the moldy stuff, and then the air circulation will keep from comin back. Not an expert, but, hope this helps. Peace, Wayne
