So there are ideas to do away with nicknames and just have real nicknames.... Some people like to remain anonymous though. Is there any way we could have a profile page? Name, hometown, when you started growing, other hobbies, profession, etc.???? Optional blanks to fill out of course, in case you did not want to share.

i always felt i had nothing to hide and was not ashamed, or needed to hide behind a nick name. im sure most on here feel the same way.

Well my story is a bit different for a guy............For twenty years I was a professional teaching artist dealing in the restoration of truely antique dolls. My partner and I taught well over a hundred others the trade. Docgipe replaced Dwaine Gipe quite naturally. Many who know me would ask who is Dwaine Gipe. And the rest would miss spell both sides of it anyway. It is somewhat odd that a guy should fondle neked dolls anyway. :)

If anyone would do as much such going ons they too would relish the challenge of a pumpkin patch to maintain sanity.

here's what a profile page is: right now, when you click on someone's name, you get an email prompt. instead, you could get a small popup page which you could edit yourself to include (or exclude) your email address, personal info, pics, or a short description of yourself.

i mentioned it to ken a few years ago, and last i knew it was probably going to be a part of this site when it gets the next major overhaul.
