I think it would be really useful to have an info page on this website setting out the import regulations for pumpkin seeds into USA, Canada, EU, Aus, NZ and other countries. They range from being unrestricted to banned!
I am happy to put a page together but would welcome any input from others.
I think the page should primarily be about the regulations and paperwork needed where appropriate but practical experience is equally useful.
What do you think? Is this information already there somewhere?

Seeds can come into Canada without any problems. I've sent seeds to most EU countries many times & haven't had any problems. It seems like the US is the only country to restrict the movement of seeds into their country. Hopefully they can someday see that pumpkin seeds aren't a problem, unless your wife finds out you spent $500 on that pumpkin seed that didn't germinate last spring.

LOL, Gary. We all feel like that some days.
I usually put "Giant Pumpkin Growing Supplies" on the Customs sticker. Once the US border guards see the word "Seed", a red flag goes off & your bubbler is now being raped. Without that word, most packages have made it through. For our raffle, the winning seeds going to the US will be mailed from the US side of the border. Hope this helps out.
