a long since deseased uncle once said to me, "if your gonna give me something, please make it an item that means something to you "

apparently kathy houghton, wife of the late world record holder charlie houghton feels the same way.

a couple weeks back while looking through bubbles and such we were surprised and extremely honored to find that kathy had passed charlies " world record banner" along.

ill tell ya friends that banner and the fact that kathy though enough of us to send the banner along, is really something special.

charlies banner proudly hangs in the middle wall of our pumpkin/carriage house. a centerpiece surrounded by memoribilia from pumpkin seasons past.

best gift we ever received. thank you kathy houghton.
