Jordan, your on the right track. I think just about any parent would rather see there teenage son outside in the back yard raising pumpkins. If more and more teenagers where like you, there would be less kids on the street and less into drugs. So follow your dreams.I had a teenager a few weeks ago contact me as asked me if I could help him out with some seeds and information on growing some pumpkins. Next week he will get more then enough seeds to get started.I think more and more members on her have to open up and be a little more kind hearted. After all, I think most of the members on here have children,or gandchildren. I have one grandson who is ten. I hope that I can steer him in the right direction to grow some pumpkins when he gets a little older.

Jordan, I enjoyed meeting you at the Fir Point weigh-off. Thank you for your help measuring the pumpkins and squash. As I promised you the 1041.5 seed is yours. The cross is the 1469 Checkon mother X the 1231 Pukos father. The pumpkin produced very few seeds, take care of it. I was very close to your age when I took over the family garden and started to compete in the local and state fairs. If you need help you have my email address just drop me a line. I can give advice but the work and results will be yours. Good luck Jack La Rue
