Has anyone purchased seeds from them in the past? They seem to have some good varieties to choose from with decent prices. Just wondering if any of yall have had any luck with them. Thanks

I have dealt with them twice now. Both times were good experiences.

Ray is a good place to buy seeds from, if you don't like to network and trade seeds with other growers.

Don Langevin also has quality seeds...very limited supplies though. Don only sells the seeds from his own fruit.

Many a highly coveted seed has been sold by P&P over the years. The 845 Bobier was once selling for $20 at P&P. Find the next silver bullet that Ray lists & buy on speculation. LOL

Thanks for the vote of confidence. We try our best at getting top quality seeds dispersed worldwide. Not only have we been selling seeds but we've done it to promote this sport/hobby from the very start back in 1983. Just like some clubs have seed offers today to afford necessities; we did similar to get giant pumpkin growing off the ground. In 1983 I spent $6,000.00 US just on news releases and postage to make the US and Canadian media aware of what a great sport/hobby this was. That first year (1983) the World Pumpkin Confederation consisted of 4 weigh-off sites: Half Moon Bay, Ca; Collins NY; Windsor NS & E Sussex UK - Objective: "To justly promote and keep open competition on a world level for the sport-hobby of growing giant pumpkins and squash." I worked and contributed for years to help make growing giant pumpkins the sccess it has become. Had some great fun doing it also. A highlight for me personally has been to see the continued interset in the long gourd growing. I've been punching at that for 2 decades now. Thanks for everything. Andy - in those early years (and still today) I gave out many free seeds to get growers interested.

We have much to be thankful for on this Thanksgiving Day and all days!

I was skeptical about Ray when I first started growing and bad mouthed him kinda on these threads only because I was new grower back then and didn't know who he was as a person. I found out he really has done a ton of work for this hobby the past 25 yrs and if you buy a seed from him it definitely is what it says it is. You guys are right,he does answer every email quickly.

We grew the Waterman 1-ton Cross (Zher X Greer) I believe back in 2001 or so. Ray sent it to us post haste with a nice note. A very trustworthy source of high quality seeds.

I bought a tarp from Ray which a coon ate a healthy hole in. Ray gladly helped me get some patching material so the tarp would contiue to look nice. As I think I recall I never got a bill for that nice favor. I had the pleasure of meeting him briefly at Niagara three years ago. He maybe should be an established Icon.
