Does anyone know where I can find an updated list of the top 100 pumpkins grown to date? I found some lists, but they were not current.
  Thanks, Mark

GPC records will give you a pretty good handle on that academec list. They have the last three or four years listed. My guess is that by this time the top one hundred are all above 1100 lbs.
I can remember just two years ago some folks were wondering where the 700 and up list went. It became a nightmare of content that one man just could not handle due to great increase in grower activity. I finally made that list but alas it is no longer a noble act to grow even a 1000 lbs. I did beat Howard Dills first world record by 263lbs. :)))

doc is somewhat right because of the increase in growers and growing skills average weights have gone up sharply.
i still consider it an accomplishment when growers in there first few years can bring 500 to 700 pounders to the scale.
not an easy task especially for the new or fairly new growers.

If I counted correctly, the 100th largest pumpkin listed currently on the AGGC, is 1204 lbs.
