Does anyone here grow plants in the "flag" pattern? If so how well does it work for you? I have worked out enough room in my patch for three plants, 2 Christmas tree pattern and I can then get one in flag pattern. Just wondering if the flag is a good pattern.
Thanks, Mark

Hey Mark, check with Jack LaRue, he does this modified spider pattern (I think that's what he calls it) and has been (obviously) quite successful. It doesn't take up a ton of room as I understand it. I personally have grown twice in the flag pattern. It's great for space, but that's about it. I'd be interested to know what the biggest pumpkin is that's been grown from a flag pattern. (I like the stars and stripes on best)
