Amazing number of "goofy" abortions all around up here as well Russ. Something weird going on. Seems to be more BES than ever around the world. Did we self and sibbed our genes too many times?

Regarding so many splits, sometimes I wonder if with all the growers' advancements, soil and foliar amendments, watering, etc. we are pushing them way too hard? They can only absorb so much regardless of size. Also freak unexpected weather turns such as heavy rains leads to some blow outs. Anyway just my thoughts over the years and yes Dad lost some big ones way back in the day too. All part of the game.
