New to growing giant pumpkins I know the basics but definitely not a pro. Tried it last year with some seeds from west coast seeds and they were a flop. So I got my niece to hunt down Dale Marshal in down town Alaska through her social media (I don't have social media) and he hooked me up. From what I read in the other diaries here I actually think I'm doing ok??? But I'm not to sure today is dap 49 and I'm at 351.5 ott giving me an estimated weight of 1009lbs. Let me know what you guys think? Any hints to make make it more better would be greatly appreciated. John. Friday, August 28 View Page Marshal 2023.5 dap 52 1080 it gained an other 42 lbs today. Any idea how big this thing might get? Thanks for the comments and encouragement!! Saturday, August 29 View Page Well this doesn't look promising. Any ideas how to fix that? I think I read some where treat it with peroxide and seal it up with silicone? It wasn't going to a competition but would like to try to keep it going. Let me know what you think. John
