Every year after the weigh-offs are done, website traffic drops off below 200 registered users per day. Then when the seed auction season begins the traffic spikes again. Someone asked, do the week night auctions get as many people as the weekends? Not quite, but they did quite well. This chart shows the total unique registered users per day on BigPumpkins.com. Maybe your club or organization should buy an ad? Contact me if you are interested.

We are working on a new version of the BigPumpkins.com iOS app! I am doing some testing of a pre-release now. Feedback from the growers I showed it to at the SNGPG Spring Meeting was all positive. Hopefully we can get it finished in April.

The new iOS app will have weight estimation built in. Even tomato estimation by circumference. You can keep track of your fruit in your diary with Private entries and then make them public after the weigh-off if you would like.

Gene has some amazing tomato plants this year! Everyone on tour was talking about them! I insisted on measuring this one that he is about to pick. It is 25.5 inches in circumference or an estimated weight of 5.8 pounds! That is CT state record territory and Gene has bigger ones still growing!
