I made a really dumb mistake. In bending my main to get an S turn in it I broke it. They say to do this in the heat of the day but on a wet 15 degree day that wasn't an option. It was remarkably brittle as I didn't apply much pressure. This is a pretty major setback. I've retrained a secondary as a new main but will probably have to go with a set off a secondary this year.
