An ambitious 4'x 4' board perhaps? 1526 Miller pumpkin is really taking off, OTT at 99, calculated wt at 25 lbs 13 DAP, about 3 days ahead of where my 656 Domke was. The 2nd and 3rd pollinations on this Miller plant have been removed since this primary fruit looked the best. Miller vine seems to be healthy and is outgrowing its space so I've been trimming back the Domke plant (I only have about 5-600 sq ft total space and that includes some grass areas plus allowing secondaries to grow up a fence. The Domke pumpkin is only at about 150 lb 32 DAP, its growth kind of stalled over the last week as I started trimming the plant back. I'll try to keep that pumpkin on the remnant vine for some young relative or neighbor kids this fall.
